Smee Sue: It was. We hit about 65mph with the wind last night/this morning too. I could tell cos the poles that hold the washing line were vibrating!

Gold☼Light: Why all beautiful places have so wild weather...
Nov 20, 2013 19:28:10 GMT
Smee Sue: Here, Gold Light, we say 'tha e fiadhich' - it is wild. And it is. That's one of the things we love about this place

Aladdin: I love a good thunderstorm with lots of lightning. Sadly, a rare event on the Dorset coast.

Angiestepney: That's true, last decent thunderstorm I saw was in Turkey two years ago with forked lightening, surprised we didn't have many over the summer with it being so hot.

chicken_hot_pot: Just to cold and miserable here. :0(

Gold☼Light: Maybe therefore are these places with wild weather so nice, because the nature often cleans the landscape with rain and wind. After such "cleaning" is everything fresh and tidy and nice green. I like thunderstorms too, but only if I am inside.

Essential Rabbit: Where I am Nature cleans the landscape with wind and rain so often, that it's threadbare.

Gold☼Light: I haven't mean tornados, hurricanes or whirlwinds. They make a mess, not the cleaning.

threewellsofmyown: Where I live the Atlantic gales clean things of any dust and the accompanying rain washes everything clean....

asparagus: It is a mercy George wasn't running with the dog. [br][br]No, it was a pity. Splattered George would have made my year.

Mermaid: Horrible comment, even if meant to be funny. Which it isn't as far as I'm concerned.

marg2809: I am just waiting for one of them to be needing a kidney and the other being the only possible match!

Pineapple Fritters: Hallo, asparagus! Haven't seen you since the tinned mackerel. Us food items should stick together.
Nov 30, 2013 9:58:03 GMT
Angiestepney: If you are a mackerel and in a tin, sticking together is what you do best!

Mermaid: Magnetism, obviously.
